We suggest flying into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport (ATL). The Ritz Carlton Lake Oconee is a 90 minute drive from the airport. Most rental car companies are available at the ATL airport. If you do not want to rent a car, please see the transportation section below for information on car services from the Atlanta Airport to Lake Oconee. Please reach out to us with any questions on getting there!

We have a room block at the Ritz Carlton which is where all wedding events will be held. We would love for you to join us here!
The special rate is available from Thursday to Sunday. The rate requires a two night stay. The deadline to book the special rate is May 5, 2025.

Transportation around Lake Oconee

There are no ubers/lyfts in the Lake Oconee area, if you are not staying at the Ritz Carlton we recommend pre-arranging transportation to the events. RTSO Car Service and Urbana Transportation can arrange rides around the Lake Oconee area as well as between the Atlanta Airport and Lake Oconee. If you are staying at the Ritz Carlton they can also arrange car services.

What is there to do at the hotel?

There are multiple pools, lake activities, boat and jet ski rentals as well as golf at Lake Oconee! The Ritz Carlton team can help set up golf and boat/jet ski rentals. There are multiple restaurants, bars and a coffee shop on property as well! Let us know if you have any questions on what to do!
